A consortium of transport companies worth 250 million Euros to provide transportation services to the new Istanbul airport.

The operator of the new airport (İGA) and six other companies signed an agreement worth 250 million Euros to secure transportation and shipping services for the new Istanbul airport.

Among the signatories, are the Turkish Post Corporation (PTT) and the Havaş Transport Company.

The President of the Executive Board of İGA said at the signing ceremony that 55% of the airport construction has been completed and that 30,000 workers are working night and day to complete the construction of the airport as soon as possible.

He also said that work was continuing on airport business deals, and that the last deal was the free market deal.

He added that the tenders for food and drink shops were in the first quarter of this year, and that the space allocated for advertising will be put for tender in the coming days.
